World Series of Poker $50K H.O.R.S.E.
Event WSOP
A recent announcement regarding the 2006 World Series of Poker (WSOP) has been made. A $50,000 buy-in HORSE event got added in and a player advisory board has been set up to improve the player experience.
This will be the first time a World Series of Poker event will have a buy-in that is larger than $10,000. This year’s WSOP will now have 45 total events. It will take place at the Rio in Las Vegas again from June 25th to August 10th 2006.
H.O.R.S.E is a mixed rotation of Hold’em, Omaha 8 or better, Razz, Stud high, and Stud 8 or better.
H - Hold'em
O - Omaha Eight or Better
R - Razz
S - Stud High
E - Stud Eight or Better
Many of the professional poker players complained that this year’s WSOP schedule was too much Texas Hold’em. Some even goin as so far to call it the World Series of Hold'em.
